The State of Illinois has criminalized all forms of domestic violence "including physical abuse, sexual abuse, neglect, and exploitation." The Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986 CCSS PAIP infers six objectives of The Illinois Domestic Violence Act of 1986: 1.
